"A final between IJA and FSA" ?!

While KR may be a tad overly optimistic, I think the 5th player must come from the already existing IJA ranks to be fair.

I guess I can play for IJA. I have been wanting to try my all commander strat. A group of commanders all raising each attack rating to enormous heights. They will be unstoppable. Three barracks producing nothing but commanders.

OK, guys...it's been since January that the last game was completed in the tourney....over 3 months.

We would rather have the game with IJA, but it appears as if that's not going to happen anytime soon. A few weeks ago, I asked how much time IJA needed...72 hours?, 7 days?, 10?...and then May 1st was suggested for a deadline to have started the match, and here we are, still waiting. I've received NO communication from any IJA member recently concerning a start.

I believe it's time for a call on the situation so the tournament may be completed sometime this year AND before the new version. FSA & BoS are still active in the tourney and their opinion should perhaps carry alittle more weight as they are being forced to wait as well, but the opinion of any tourney participate is valid,....what's the consensus?

As a relative newbie here, I cannot believe the clans started a tourney ladder for clans WITHOUT a time limit for starting each clan game. I would think 1 month is a reasonable time to get 5 people together for a team.

IMHO, 3 months is too long already. May 1 was proposed as the deadline date almost a month ago. So while one clan may be upset, I would say you OFFICIALLY have a forfeit on your hands for this matchup. Yes, I know it's none of my business, but if other clans are waiting on the outcome of this match, it's only fair to them to have this decided already. And I would consider that the outcome has been decided as of today.

Congratulations to AAA for their "win". Let the rest of the ladder proceed now! :-)

Hmm it looks to me like IJA could form a team as of this moment:

ethedog - active
Funker - inactive for 3 days
Io - inactive for 3 days
kingrichard - active
RexTorres - active
Val - active
VivaChe - inactive for 1 day
zorg - inactive for 15 days

Only zorg seems to be away, can't you guys start this even if one player can't be 100% active? I mean, any kind of performance is better than a forfeit especially this late in the tourny. Ethedog, kingrichard, RexTorres, Val and VivaChe?

So..Viva's back in IJA again?

We've had 4 or 5 different line ups ready for this game over the past few months. We've waited, had 5 players ready, then have to shuffle again because of no start, then another one of us can't play because of a trip or sickness or whatever...we change lineup again...we wait again...now it's approaching summer, and we'll have additional players that can't play for real life reasons.

So...let's say in another week or two, IJA finally says "we're ready"...then perhaps, we'll not ready with who we prefer to play with...maybe one of our players is on a trip or vacation, do we get three months to delay a start? We should, since we've waited over 3 months...but that's the problem...IF one team is allowed this much time, then you have to allow ALL teams the same time frame to start a match. Now...see how time consuming this could be?

Look...we wanted to play IJA, but it's past time to end this...we waited this long simply because we DIDN'T want any doubt that we preferred the game versus the forfeit.

On April 12 KR says "I will need some days to get 5 ACTIVE players for our team - 72 hours arenīt enough.". After a long wait of a few months already, May 1 was suggested as a drop dead date back at the start of April. Vivache says on April 8 - "hey, hey, hey. keep cool, you should give IJA time till 1. may. if kingrichard canīt field a team, then it may be a forfeit."

I have not seen a post about what KR feels would be a fair date. At this stage I suggest that if the game does not begin by the end of this week (May 08) that AAA formally be declared the winner.

IJA, please get this thing going so there is a game to enjoy rather than arguements. AAA, and the community here I believe, have been more than fair in attempting to accomodate you.

Corflu, I appreciate your words, but suggesting another week to wait, may as well suggest another month. I've offered to set a deadline to KingRichard/IJA, both in msg and here in this thread. You referred to his post on April 12th...he asked for a few days then, after I suggested a 72 hour deadline when BA posted on their active players AT THAT TIME, then I suggested 7 days..10 days...still no acknowledgement, no agreement for ANY number of days, other than Viva's comments that seemed to indicate an agreement with the May 1st deadline. We've been attempting to schedule a start for this game since late January or early February.

We've waited long enough, period, but we'll wait some more...I challenge IJA to start the game within 48 hours or forfeit....no more discussion, no more excuses, no more begging them for a start.

No start before midnight, Tuesday night, acknowledge a forfeit. C'MON, IJA, let's play now or call it!!!

KR, that's the point...I quit msg'g because it wasn't getting anything accomplished. You know we've been waiting, it's YOU or someone from IJA that should be doing the msg'g.

Look man...it isn't personal, I got nothing against you or any IJA member, hell, I've both fought and worked with some of your members in the past....no real problems with anybody.

It's about either starting the game or not...you say you're tired...look at it from our side for a moment. The message we always get is just like the one you just posted..."I think(and hope!) the clan game will start soon."...our team has been on standby for over 3 months, thinking it would start tomorrow...or in a few days...or next week...but always having to be ready, since we can't get a commitment on a set time.

Either play the game now, or just forfeit.
